Why does my dog do this?

I had assumed it had to do with his breed, but just wanted to check. I have never seen a dog carry things around so much. He is so careful with it too. He doesn't like his blanket to drag, so he balls it up to keep it from dragging lol. Thanks guys!

    My new baby dart frog

I talked to them. They don't ship the tadpoles, because its to risky. They are willing to let me have some for my classroom if I can meet them at the reptile show in Daytona. The only problem is I am not sure I can make it to that show. :(
