Yeah, here's what he did/we will do:
Baytril 0.25 ml - every other day
Ringers solution + glucose + vit C - every other day
Calcium borogluconate - every other day
60 min warm baths every day
We're waiting for blood tests to come back as well, but there's not much hope the antibiotics will...
It seems our temps are broken and she only has ~85F in her basking spot and 75F or less elsewhere..
So she ate something, tried to hibernate due to low temps, and wasn't able to process the food..
I knew I'm dumb, but not to that extent...
Actually I might be wrong as it's very hard to spot bowel movements in the hay, I was talking about that time we bathed her and she pooped. (She hasn't poop while bathing since then AFAIK)
P.S. Yeah, I got it wrong and I'm talking about urates (white stuff) instead of poop..She mostly poops in...
I feel like **** now because I don't know exact numbers as we didn't setup the enclosure properly :(
It's an open table, so cold spot has room temperature..We weren't able to find a replacement for our UVB bulb as well so it uses simple lamp :/
We're living @ 59N parallel (same as Alaska), summer wasn't THAT cold I guess.. and we know about the beak and nails but we couldn't find a vet to trim it :(She's indeed moving less than before (we moved here last year)
Yes, we were with the vet whole time, he only did the shots, and I'm 100%...
Took 'sleepy' tortoise to the vet yesterday and after antibiotic shot she now has red spots near her tail. Did my vet screw up?
