Hi there! I was soaking my redfoot today and noticed that it has these whiteish spots on its plastron. Is this the start of shell rot or shell fungus? And advice is appreciated on what it could be and what to do. Thanks!

I love that idea but then there would be no way for him to get UV... We live in Wisconsin and are unable to take him outside in the winter.

Thank you! The end that the heat/UV light is on is not covered for that reason. There is about a foot uncovered on that end so that the UV rays can get to him. When he gets bigger I will redesign so that the light can hang on the interior. Thanks for your input!
