I keep mine indoors, I might have the potential to have a part time out next summer. However I just give them large cages, with tons of lights and good temperatures. Interesting landscaping to encourage roaming.

RE: MVB, how big is that cage? I use MVB on all of my cages however they do have a wide heat array, if the cage is to small it might be to hot in my opinion.

I mount my lights, and use chain along with the wire to adjust the height of the lights.
So just make the 'arc' higher then you need it, so you can lower or raise the lights as needed.
