Just curious...how often do you guys take your turtle to the Vet? Timmy is a 45+ years old Box Turtle and I’m taking him in to the vet next Friday. Mostly because I’m afraid to clip his nails, but they’ll do a full blood panel and general exam. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated...

Does this mostly happen with young turtles? Because my 45+ year old box turtle Timmy “flashes” on a regular basis! ?

I very rarely meet anyone that owns a turtle. Love this forum where there are fellow “turtle/tortoise” people! The other day I ran into someone I hadn’t seen since high school 30 or so years ago. They said “remember when you used to own that turtle?” Guess what? Timmy’s still alive and well...
