Too funny! I was giving George a rub on the head Friday night. After a few seconds, he pulled his head back slightly and opened his mouth... I don't know if he was *yawning* or if he was contemplating giving me a bite, but I didn't leave my hand there long enough to find out!

Thanks! It's reassuring to know George is "normal" :-) I found a light timer stashed in the back of a drawer, but of course the battery back up is drained. As soon as I get to Walmart to pick up new batteries, George will be on a timer too.

The local Petco didn't have anything larger than the current half log, so I had to improvise a bit. I picked up a terra cotta pot at Walmart yesterday and buried it halfway to replace the too-small log. Then I bured the half log so just the top/bark is exposed so it gives George another texture...
