Hi there! I'm a happy go kick beach girl from southern CA, born and raised. I'm not a typical pet lover type but got the wild idea to get a tortoise as our family pet. Clementine was our sweet girl but we didn't end up getting to enjoy her for too long. She had to be put to sleep after a bad prolapse, and I'm fairly traumatized and miss her terribly. I only joined this forum after she got ill, but I really wish I had become a member sooner. There is so much great information here. We may try for another tortoise friend soon. I'm hopeful with the help of the experts on here, I'll be much more successful
