i have also read that weight also plays a small role, some where around 800grams for the female if she is in the 6" range. males can be sexually mature much younger and lighter/smaller like 4 1/2-5" and around 500-600grams

i wear vinyl gloves and weekly sift through the substrate, i pick out all their turds and any foreign objects. i also mist it several times a week. i will set my sprayer to the finest mist i get and i will spray the torts even i figure they encounter rain.
the heat lamp will reduce the humidity, but if anything that humidifier will probably create water droplets on the ceiling of that plastic, so look for that.

the humid hide box is for juveniles right? i keep my substrate fairly moist but it drys out from time to time. all my RT's are at least 4 1/2 " do they need a humid hide like juvy?
