Which Star do I have?

Hello, I'm new! I just got my first tortoise and I'm very excited! I know I've got a Star, but I was told it was a Burmese and I'm not sure that's the case. I think I've got an Indian Star (which is fine), and just wanted to get some feedback. Also, how do you sex them and do they have to be a certain age for that?

You have an Indian star tortoise (Geochelone elegans) and he/she is too young to sex accurately.

Hello Wendy welcome to the TFO from AZ . I think you have a Starr tort . They are a lot like a leopard . But it takes a long time to sex a tort in most cases 5-10 years . So I don't think anybody will be able to sex it but if you want them to try you got to take a pict of the tail from the underside . But have a great tort day ! And start reading and reading on here. Geochelone' s rule !

cant help with the id but its a lovely looking tortoise. i would so love a star. i seen an adult in a pet shop today and it was so hard to leave with out it
