You will need a UVB fluorescent tube plus a heat bulb. Don't use that new one that is a coil. It has caused problems.Cam posted the site back in Nov to view the reports about them & the ReptiGlo bulbs. They are bad for their eyes as well as causing other health problems

you will have no problems with a combined heat/UV lamp i use them for all of mine and as long as they are used correctly you won't have a problem. They are better than a UV tube which will need to be changed every 6 months, these last around 2-3 years.

ok thanks, I'll order one right away. I just recently made a new addition to Tanks home, he has to walk a bridge/ramp to get to the upper level so I think I'm going to put my current heat bulb up their and have the heat/uv bulb in his main area.... is that a good idea? Or should I just use one?

Is that the best site? Or are there some others I should check out?

The bulb that Cheryl uses, I hear a lot of people are using and they really like them. They are expensive, but well worth it.

That's the MegaRay bulb and what I intend to try the next time I buy. When I first looked at them they were $89 each.
And $10 for shipping is about normal.
