Made some adjustments to my little guys enclosure today. I added the plexiglass window to the front for better viewing (and so I don't have to let out the humidity and heat whenever I check in on him)... I found that with this enclosure, aluminum foil over the top holds in the heat and humidity better than anything else I have tried. I am always up for suggestions on that, however.

I am using a mercury vapor lamp for the daylight hours and the Florida sun for an hour or 2 in his outdoor enclosure when weather permits.

Also, the CHE is on at night to keep the temps up when the lamp is off.

The aloe keeps him occupied with something to climb around and snack on and he loves conquering the mountain above his hide box!

I love the plexi glass! How'd you secure it to the tub?

Screwed it in at the border using 8-1/2 inch screws then capped them on the back side to avoid any edges. Then just used gorilla tape to seal and border the front. Has held up great for the past couple months.

Great idea!!! Looks really nice with the plexiglas. What type of container did you use? Most I've seen have ridges all the way down and wouldn't allow for the plexiglass to be attached.

This is my first attempt and I still have to add in the plants. Not real handy so I just used bungees to clip the top closed and I used zip ties as a hinge. There is a drip line that will change out the water and a mister on a timer. I drilled holes in the bottom for drainage.
