I just bought these Burpee seeds for my tortoise garden and I wanted to make sure that the type of lettuce is OK for my male Russian tortoise. (Or is pretty much any type of lettuce OK?) They were cheap and I have lots of space!

Giant Caesar lettuce

Black seeded Simpson lettuce

Here are the other types of lettuce they offer (if anyone is interested). :D Thanks, everyone!

If you are going to feed lettuce, choose romaine, lettuce is food that is not bad, just low in nutrition. grow radishes or turnip[s and feed the greens to them, or even dandelions.

Red and green leaf lettuces are good.
Any lettuce listed on a bag of spring mix is goos.

Plant some squashes and clover to. The squash leaves and blooms are great food and they make great shade at the same time.
