treatment of pneumonia russian tortoise

My russian tortoise has pneumonia they have been giving ceftazidime injections every 3 days but no baytril like many other people are getting. Is this normal?

The pneumonia is pretty bad according to them

My tortoise was given the same medication for pneumonia and it worked wonderfully.

Yes. That is a good antibiotic for respiratory infection.
