I told myself I would behave and not flood the board today, but then someone shared this one on a local group. It's horrific! "Two turtles and a gecko".. Can only see one of the "turtles" (russian tortoise) in the photos...

Aw come on now...it's not as bad as all that. The aquarium is fairly large (not large enough, though), and he has water and hiding place. Looks like he's been dog-chewed. But from all your responses I thought it would be much worse than it is.

No uvb, one tiiiny heat lamp, housed with some mystery gecko, and from what little I can see of the other "turtle," it looks like a different species than the Russian... shell is too dark and no visible pattern. Tank is decently large compared to some posts we've seen, yeah, but that's all they have going for them from where I'm sitting...

I wish I were close enough to help them out! 2+ hr drive and no space, anyway... :(
