Very nice! How does it drain? I ask because it looks like a cement pond?

That's an easy way to do it. Thanks for the tip

Super nice!

How often do you need to clean it? We have a small concrete bird bath that I clean a lot. Birds are messy! :)

The sprinklers add fresh water every day. I sweep it all out when he uses it as a toilet. Often daily, but sometimes it is a few day. It is really easy. I put a 1 inch lip on the back, so it is above ground level. This prevents the water from just draining back into it. Just push the icky water out and refill.

We fostered Sully almost a year ago, and he is now officially ours. Thank you Ken! Here he is enjoying his new permanent pond.

Such a good looking sulcata! Jodie you and yours are doing such a wonderful job providing for Sully and the handful of Russians from down here in the south. Hey! I just thought of something! In the past, 4 of those sulcata were rescued pairs that I felt were better here at the ranch than being set loose in eastern Oregon. From now on, when those folks contact me, I'll send them your way. Perfect plan!
Fine, I'm busted. I'd never do that. Your backyard is safe … for now!!!
Keep in touch and with hopes we'll hook up soon.
