Star sex identification

    Is my tort a baby boy or a baby girl...and please justify how you identified

    It appears to be a 5-6" tortoise. At that size if it was a male it would have a much longer tail. So I'm going to agree with Neal and say also female.

    Agree with Gus and Neal - especially with you confirming your star is 16 cm (just over 6") - you have a female. By that size a male would have the larger tail and some plastral concavity.
