hey guys. Recently I found some springtails in my leopard’s habitat.
I’m trying to kill them with vinegar( just spray the vinegar over the habitat)
My question is : is the vinegar safe for my tortoise ?
Thanks

I know these little creatures won’t bite .
But every morning when you try to change the water and clean the food tray , they still bother me a lot ....

I’m almost certain that vinegar is nontoxic, but wait for a second opinion.

I believe the best advice I can offer is.....you will need to get over it...you are housing a dirt/earth loving creature and with that comes critters....perhaps add some peel bugs and if you are running a moist warm environment then add some earthworms.... yup, it is what you have invited yourself into.... :)

I can't suggest anything better than Angela's POV here.

Springtails are desirable, people buy them to add to their enclosures for many types of reptiles and amphibians. Count your blessings you have them for free.
