Why is it turbo likes the warm less humid side better than the semi warm humid side? The warm side is 90 with 60 % humidity, it goes up to 74 at night....the hide side is 81 with 74% humidity...humidity stays about the same at night..

They are a more "arid" dweller----that is not saying that they do not need and desire water at their disposal---but not wanting to go to high humidity would not surprise me....and the warmer location, again makes perfect sense....a grip of years that this species has lived to develop into the tortoise he is now...
