Snowball, it would be best if you started a new thread asking this question. That way, we could ask you some of the necessary questions to give you better answers. Questions like what size are you thinking? How much room do you have for this tortoise? Will you house it outside? Winters inside/summers outside? Where do you live? Any previous tortoise, turtle or even reptile experience? Do you want a pure plant eater or could you handle feeding a tortoise some protein that could be bugs, dead mice, or even chicken for examples.

Now I can take your post and mine and create a new thread for you, if you wish.
