Sometimes I wonder if Jessie is part horse.

An acquaintance was driving home one evening and spotted a bale of alfalfa that had fallen off someone's truck. She stopped and picked it up and brought it to me for my tortoises. The stems were way too hard for even the 200lbs aldabran tortoises to eat. I'm real surprised that Jesse is able to eat that.
Normally I just feed timothy but I got this bale at the feed store and he absolutely loves it, no problems eating it at all. The other day he had a head of green leaf a bunch of kale,a bunch of turnip greens some mazuri and then went for the hay after that. It's like he never stops.
"Jessie, are you a horse ?, Yay, or neigh ?"
