Scales on leopard tortoise

Hi does anyone no what these dark scales are on my leopard they are grey with dots on them

Take a brush with warm water to them and see if they come off.

Looks like substrate to me. Try the warm water/brushing to see if it cleans off.

My leopard has LOTS of dark spots on his leg scales, but it's pigment and you should be able to tell the difference, especially after a rinse.

Hi guys my baby leopard has these grey scales on front legs hard to explain here is a pic is it just dry skin?

Did you read the answers in your other thread?

Personally, I think those grey scales are markings. Darker pigment making "spots" on the legs.
Best way to know for sure, give a warm bath and try to brush the legs. If nothing comes off, it's probably just the coloring.
Next time post an "after bath" clearer photo

I would not scrub so much....those appear to be normal coloring.....
