Russian Tortoise Wanted

Looking to get a friend for our male Russian Tortoise. My wife is a vet and I am an animal trainer. We will give any unwanted Russian Tortoise a great home. We also have a 3 acre property to explore.

Oh, dear. Male russian tortoises don't have friends. They have competitors or victims. You have enough room for more tortoises, but you'd need 3 or more females to make it work. Even then, females sometimes bully each other.

As @johnsonnboswell said, male can be agressive, and can stress out their 'buddies'. Tortoises are colonial, and are NOT social. it could work, but 'you would need a large outdoor habitat, and a harem of females for him to contr0l-spread attention so that one doesn't get stressed.
