Need help with bedding
What size sulcata?
For indoor housing of smaller sulcatas, fine grade orchid bark works best. Also called "Fir Bark". I buy it cheaply in bulk at my local garden centers. You won't find it at most chain type hardware stores.
I would not use soil, and cypress mulch is okay, but not my favorite.

Tom, why would you not use soil for a sulcata? That's what I'm starting my little guy on, as a substrate to retain moisture
