Ploughshare and Radiated in China.

Last week I took a afternoon off to visit a local Tortoise Lover and he ask couple of his Tortoise loving friend to coma over to show their collection of tortoise.

His enclosure is on the rooftop, he build a 8' x 8' space for his 4 radiated tortoise and one Indian star.

This is the grand view of the enclosure.

His friend bought three Ploughshare..........

This is my first time face to face to this species. My heart is rising.....

It is illegal to own any tortoise in China but Radiated tortoise is the entry level tortoise for lots of Chinese Tortoise hobbyist.

Can you believe it?? Insane........is all I can say!!

Look closer and they are different - the head/face and the limbs may look similar to untrained eyes but they are not !!

No. They are not. It is all bought in to this guy's house to show us. It is on the roof-top (6th floor) to they have them all in the container to carry up to the roof.
