Plant suggestions for Leopard Tortoise enclosure

My leopard tortoise recently had a 8x10 outdoor enclosure built for him, and it's kinda empty. He has a good sized bush that he LOVES to hide under. I wanted some suggestions for other plants/bushes that aren't too big that can encourage him to move around the enclosure and not feel so exposed. Thanks!

How about some potted tropicals that you could move inside when the cold hits?
I used plants in pots, etc. until I just gave up and let whatever wanted to grow, grow.
