These guys are from the same mother, but do appear to have different fathers. They're both TTBT's, but one appears to be possibly from an Ornate or Eastern father. Either way, cute little guys, and great personalities.

They are both beautiful, because I think ALL box turtles are beautiful, but I'm loving that light colored one...the second picture. Love him.

How old? Theyre awesome!

They're 3 years, the lady I bought them from hatched & raised them up. I kinda like the darker fellow myself, he does the funniest yawns :D But they are both great.

Here's another pic of each, the lighter one was not very cooperative for picture taking, couldn't get a good angle.
I need to work on names now!

I love the expression on the second one in the last picture, first set. Why are you thinking it's not pure three toed?

The drastic color & pattern difference. Having said that, my experience with BT's has up to this point always been adults, I haven't bred or raised one of these guys from a hatchling. So it might very well be a misconception, I know their shells will change through adulthood.
The lady did mention having an ornate male who'd get over the divide at times

It could be a hybrid with an ornate, the colors def lean that way, they both are very good looking hatchlings tho! Congrats
