We have recently been invaded by both mosquitoes and chiggers, specifically in what Sheldon thinks are the tastiest areas of the yard...is there anything I can treat the grass with that won't harm him when he eats it? A neighbor suggested neem oil but I've read conflicting opinions on it's safety. Any advice would be helpful!

Diatemaceous Earth --foodinto grade ONLY ....not the stuff for pools....the food grade DE with likely kill off the chiggers...however I don't believe they will work on the mosquitos though.....
Where's the best place to get it? I can't find it anywhere locally.
You can try your local feed bins ..folks use it forthe parasite control in goats and other livestock....also you can google for online sources....
