opaque growth?

Now that we've had Juno for about 3 weeks, I've started to notice that the outter rim of her shell has an almost see thru border similar to a finger nail... Wondering if this is just new growth around the outside or some bigger issue. She seems to be acting normal. Her diet consist of a variety of different greens and her enclosure is all correct. here are some pictures that i hope will help. She didn't want to stay still have her dinner/ soaking.

Its new growth. There is always a ring around the entire shell of a growing tortoise that is clear like that. Completely normal, and nothing to worry about.

Thank you very much... its what I was guessing but didn't find anything conclusive.

Yeah it's basically a place of just keratin, no bone underneath because it's at the very edge.
