Not long ago I redecorated my indoor enclosure...again. I added another hide and some big rocks. I thought it was strange that my tort refused to use the new hide and instead buried himself into the coco coir under a spider plant. A few days ago I tried filling the whole hide with a lot of moss (see pic), and my tort went for it right away. My little guy is now using it every single day.
Hopefully this might help others that have torts that won't use their humid hides.
