Does anyone knows why a baby redfoot eats a lot, is grown 1/8" a month but not gain any weight???
The temps and humidity are correct and they are well hydrated.

You might try setting him up in his own habitat without other tortoises and see if that helps. They are sometimes intimidated by other tortoises and try to stay inconspicuous and out of the other tortoises' way. This means they don't eat as well.

The thing is that Hedwig is the first one to start eating and is the last one to leave the plate. She is always eating. She even take the food of the other bigger torts. And this is the fisrt time she hasn't gain any weight.

I have a security camera installed in their habitat and Im always checking on them and I always see Hedwig eating. And I also give them a lots of food so all three can have a share of it.

Well sometimes if you weigh them right after they use the bathroom that can alter it, or if the last time you weighed right after they eat versus if they ate a few hours ago can alter it as well.

Thats true! But I found a little bulling between the big one and the little one regarding with the food. Came up with the idea of putting food in differents areas at the same time and the bulling stop. Let see if Hedwig gain some weight.
