New Redfoot hatchlings March 5, 2020

These two eggs are the first to hatch
I have a zoo-med incubator
I found 4 eggs on October 25 2019
I currently have 2 adult male Redfoots
1 female adult Redfoot
1 female adult yellowfoot
2 juvenile Redfoot females
I have built a large enclosure
Most of my adults are rescues
Some from the Plant’s by a lake
Few BBC from pet stores
So my 2 baby’s don’t eat and thing
I have them in an aquarium moss with a hide and a flat dish of water it’s about 1 inch high and a small food dish
cut up romaine and a little bit of strawberries they do drink from water dish
I usually set them in the water dish just to teach them and make sure they get enough moisture we also spray there enclosure several times a day
I am worried about their not eating and there yolk sack are gone
Any advice is appreciated

It's much easier to get a group of babies to eat than it is to get one baby to eat. Just set them in front of the food every time you walk by the enclosure. They'll soon get the message. It helps if there are lots of plants to give them a safer feel to their environment.

Congratulations, Try cutting their food into smaller bite size pieces and mix whatever you offer together.

Thank you I have only one tortoise hatching and he is half yellowfoot and half redfoot his name is Harry Potter he had his one year vet check and he is healthy and growing very fast his shell color is not keeping up so he scutes are cream color in the crevices he has been in the large enclosure for 7 months and stays close to his mom all of my torty kids love and watch over him/ 4 girls and 2 males so 8 total happy and healthy
