Hi All,
Here are some newer pics of Sunny. You can see he
had a scab bump thing of the back of his neck where
it goes in the shell? The scab fell off and as you can see
we are left with a white-ish scar12404672_10153144666896968_959634600_n.jpg 12434377_10153144666976968_805969933_n.jpg 12431444_10153144667021968_900888685_n.jpg ? Let me know how he
looks other wise? Thanks

Looks fine to me. I love her.
This is the tort you was told the squiggly lines were a sign of mould growth if my memory serves me right.
Hope you don't mind but this is the photo of her back then that you posted. Can you post a today photo of similar view for a direct comparison please.

Hi,
Thanks all! And Merry Xmas to u ALL and Happy New Year! I hope mine is better
then last! I had to have my 10 month old puppy put down, she went nuts and
would attack any body and anything. She bit 3 strangers and my elderly Mother
twice and the last time she had to get 3 stitches so the call was made something
must be wrong in her head and the vet said it was best after trying some drugs and
trainers to be put down. I found out my brother is dieing of liver cancer and my
husbands Mom had a mini stroke. We got another puppy from a friend of my husbands
this time a chocolate Lab pup who is 6 months old now. We had a chocolate Lab for
11 years before the the pup that had to be put down. So needless to say sometimes
I feel am not looking after Sunny as well as I should be? Like I did feed him twice a
day now, it is more like once a day? I do still bath him every other day though and
clean his cage once a month? I still do try and make sure his temps and
humidity are good? I dont really know how he got that scab? I was spraying him
with water now I have stopped and the scab healed up? Maybe it was a burn with
that water on him and lights? I have used the co co virgin oil to help heal it up,
and I think it really has helped the sore? Thanks again You guys are the BEST!
I will try and get a pic of more of his shell? I dont remember someone saying those
lines were mold? I do have to say

Merry Xmas.
I Just looked back.
Sorry, it wasn't mould, the terms used were, shell infection, delamination of the scutes and scute deficiency and that's why the scutes are sunken with squirls.

No, there's nothing wrong with him. You should show him to the person on fb who said he had something wrong.
He looks fantastic.

Those white, squiggly lines show you that he's healthy and growing. It sounds like you have enough to worry about without having to worry about your beautiful tortoise too. Just relax and enjoy him.
