Hello everyone. I've been reading posts for a few weeks. There is a ton of helpful information here. Thanks to all who have shared their knowledge and experiences. I figure that it's about time to introduce myself. My name is Kym and my new baby sulcata is 5 weeks old. His/her name is Zippy because it's very curious and moves quickly to check out new things in his (plastic) tank. I have a small 10-acre farm. It's just a hobby farm in southern Ohio - zone 6b. Zippy lives in the house, in the warm room where parrots reside (in cages unless taken outdoors for sunshine) but in the future years I would like to build Zippy an outdoor habitat. Our winter months are very short and mild (no snow but night temps can drop to freezing) but I will provide heated indoor space for him/her.
I feel that I'm set up on all the necessities and look forward to a long relationship with Zippy. I am happy to be a member here because I am sure that a few questions will popup over time. They always do regardless of what critter we caring for.
Thanks for allowing me to join.
