Can I ask how you go about maintaining humidity for your torts in the winter months here?

My house is overall pretty dry during the winter, right now I have an open tub with a humidifier but Im starting to wonder about a closed chamber or a cover of some sort.

I had a top on the enclosure with a warm mist humidifier. Mine now lives outside in a tort shed and does not need as high of a humidity as he did when he was younger. Although, with the plants and water bowls, etc, the sheds humidity is usually around 50. So, yes, cover most or all of the enclosure. Toms threads below for sulcatas and leopards can work for a RF too. You just have to be careful with the top layer of substrate. RF are more prone to shell rot. So keep the top layer of substrate dry.
