New Hermann tortoise owner in need of help please!!

Hello I am a new Hermann tortoise owner who is a year old and am not sure what substrate to use. I am in the UK and there are so many different suggestions on the Internet. Please help.

welcome to the forum. I'm in the uk too. I like to use coco coir best. I'n not a fan of top soil as it always seems to have bits of rubbish and a fair amount of sand in it.

I use a mix of the teo and that seems to hold better for digging than plain old coco coir

You take some coco coir then get some top soil mix it together their you go a great substrate in my opinion

Hi. I just bought a a coco coir brick yesterday. Had it before but I thought it was a little dry..I have a hermanns so I know they don't like it wet...any ideas??

Do as it says on the directions then let it dry
