Need advice: Sulcata hurt his underside

I came home to find Franklin mounting a cinder block in my back yard, which left a mark. Apparently the corner of it was digging into his belly and he had been doing it for a while.

It appears a little red, but assuming it bled, it wasn't much. It is concerning me, though. I cleaned it up by hosing it down, but I'm not sure if I should do anything beyond keeping it clean.

And yes, I removed the cinder block...

Any advice would be welcome.

Thanks,

Jason

It's ok, Jason. Regular first aid like what you might use on your own fingernail if you had such an injury will suffice. Oh, and try to keep it clean.

Thank you, Yvonne!!! I was starting to panic a little. What kind of first aid are you referring to, specifically?

Thanks for the tips! I never thought this would be an issue, but boys will be boys, I guess! LOL

I would first clean it with peroxide or iodine, let it dry, and then keep some triple antibiotic ointment on it for a few days.

They don't need anything to mount or satisfy themselves.
