My Russian tortoise substrate.

I plan on changing my RT substrate soon, I don't know what the best substrate would be. Currently I am using a mix of Repti bark and Eco earth. My Russian has no problem with eating his substrate or impaction. He likes to dig and poop. Please vote and leave suggestions.

Why change it? Are you dissatisfied with it? Or does it need cleaning? Many of us spot clean without replacing the substrate.
