I would remove the hay, it is too drying. Your baby already has some slight pyramiding. A simple fix of making him a hot and humid environment will help correct that. Please read the threads about closed chamber.

Hi and welcome Alexia ! Daily soaking in warm water will also help rectify the slight pyramiding Tank has ! ;)

Yup I definitely soak him every day! And spray his shell a couple times a day. I'm going to get top soil today to replace the hay and spray the tank walls with water so the humidity stays up. ☺️

I do have a question though. Is it bad to most him and the tank with distilled water? Or what kind of water should I use?

Distilled is good for spraying, keeps minerals off glass. But use drinking water for soaks and in water dish.

Plain old tap water is just fine for drinks and soaks.

As Brian said distilled is good for misting in a vivarium to keep white marks from forming on the glass. However, it's not suitable for drinking.
