I'm just outside Chicago and will be moving my red foots out doors during the days when it warms up a little. I've seen lots of ideas on here for helping to secure from critters. I'm going to do a night box inside for them. Since they're pretty big just wondering if people find a mix of substrate (rock/grass) is helpful for waste?. Anyone have helpful tips for those of us not in tropical climates besides the obvious lighting needs?
