I've had these guys about a year. They were rescued by my son at his job (restaurant) They came in a bag of crawfish and was about to be dumped into boiling water but my son saw them just in time. I have really gotten attached to these little guys. They have so much personality! But don't let their small size fool ya. They are not nice like my Sulcata. They are as mean as the devil with hemorrhoids! ,,, I believe they are (black) Mississippi Mud Turtle and (brown) Common Mud Turtle but please correct me if I'm wrong.

The sad thing is he found these turtles on two different occasions and he no longer works there. I wonder how many poor little turtles have been boiled to death? I cringe even thinking about it.

I hope they're not still using that source. or I hope the new cook is at least looking.
