It seems to be allowed though, as long as it is only the popular internet forum trolls here slandering everyone else. Guess nobody ever said that there weren't "forum favorites" around here though that are allowed to consistently break the rules without having their posts deleted. Just like I'm sure THIS off-topic post will suddenly fall on the other side of the rules.

Nope, not really. I had already decided to move these off topic comments to their own thread. I think we all needed a moment of fun and teasing, but didn't want it to take over the original thread.... thus the move. It's good to remind people that they don't HAVE to read a post by anybody and also to remind folks they need to stay on topic.

Pete, I apologize if you are feeling attacked. That was never my intention for beginning the original post, I just felt the need to clearly defend myself when you accused me of being like extremist animal groups and failing to read my own posts. I did not want you to feel bad on the original post. I even apologized for making you feel badly. I hoped that would appease you and everyone could move on amiably. I don't think the "ignore" comments were directed toward you particularly, but was good advice on how people may enjoy the forum a bit better. Again, I think you have a lot to offer and I truly don't want you to feel angry and that you've been treated unjustly. I've enjoyed other interactions with you on this forum (I thought your Eaten Alive thread was fun and interesting) and hope we can enjoy the forum in the future.

What do you think, Mods? Time to Lock her up? I think both threads have brought up some good points on BOTH sides and it just seems contention is continuing on a topic that wasn't all that important to begin with.
