Little house for my tort

I just bought my Russian tort a house so she could go inside as she loves it. She went inside it the moment she saw it but her waist was just big enough for her not to fit in the house, so I got it and cut the two corners so she could fit but now she doesn't want to get in!!!! And it was very expensive!!!

That's about par for the course. Russian tortoises prefer to make their own hiding places.

Moss inside for digging might make it more attractive?

Put a few pieces of food in the hut and not anywhere else...the tort will find a way to the food and realize the hut is not too bad a crib....lol....
