Here are pictures of a nest I dug up today.

I must have barely missed her diggin the nest, the wall is still wet which in my climate wouldn't last very long. Notice how she even put the rocks back in place.

After some careful diggin I found the first egg.

After removing the first the rest of the nest was open.

Here are the 6 eggs I removed in there temporary incubator.

Wow, how did you even know that was a nest? She did a great job at hiding it. I hope the eggs are fine and you end up with some beautiful babies! :)

The wet marks on the wall gave it away, every where else was dry. I was lucky to find it before it dried up. This is her very first clutch, so hopefully atleast a couple will hatch.

Woo Hoo! Congrats. Six eggs is pretty good for her first clutch. I couldn't tell that my first fertile eggs were fertile until two months in to the incubation. I thought I had a bunch of duds prior to that.

Can't wait to see pips in 3 or 4 months!

Actually, it's 7 eggs. I left the 7th one in the nest thinking in case I mess something up with incubating them I'll have one still "naturally" in the nest...but then I realized I messed up the nest too much and my chances of it were still higher if I took it out with the others. My fingers are crossed that they're fertile!
