This is Isaac now at 7 months. How does he look? Healthy? Pyramiding has gone away pretty much now.

What's his weight and SCL now? He looks like a nice, healthy growing boy to me.

I dont have a weight for him. But for his size he's a lead weight. He weighs almost as much as Marty who is as big as 1 1/2 Isaacs. And what is SCL?

straight carapace length. I would advise getting a scale and weighing and keeping track of the weights of all your torts.

If you need a link on how to measure, I can link you.

Always nice to hear a happy ending. Are his claws growing back on his hind foot?

Yes they are finally. They look like little stubs though. They dont grow back sharp so they look like extra scutes (the thick ones they have on their legs.)

Looking good! Yes, I also high suggest you need to weight and measure growing torts weekly if not at least monthly. For adult torts, monthly should be sufficient enough. This is primarily to keep an eye on if they lose weight or are not gaining as fast (health problems, including parasites), but also to check their growth pattern. A cheap and simple way to keep an eye on their health, as weight loss is an indicator of many health issues. My vet loved that I brought in Trevor's growth chart as she could see that he had been gaining weight slowly and steadily. Both times he had high parasite loads he had slower weight gain.
