Do not use mercury vapor bulb, halogen bulbs or coil bulbs. The best uvb bulb is an Arcadia tube florescent.

No, that's the coil type. Doesn't give good UVb at all and can damage eyes.

You want an Arcadia ProT5 Kit for UV. It is the 12%HO. Any length will work. It does not have to run the length of the entire enclosure. Put it on a timer for about 2-4 hours mid day.

Agree wit Tom… depending on the height of ur enclosure though (if u have a low boy the t5 pro kits might be to much)
