Hello,
I have had my cherry head redfoot (Taco) for just over a month now and I noticed that the bottom of his shell has some discoloration and is a little bit soft where the lines meet (I'm not sure what that is called), but I don't know if that is normal for a small, growing tortoise. It does smell bad when I smell his shell underneath, but I'm not sure if that is any different than most tortoises. I'm really worried about it, as I've been trying to make sure the husbandry and his diet are as good as I can possibly make them. Any help is appreciated.
