Hey guys,
I have had my Russian tortoise for a few years now and he has never shed. I know shedding is healthy but I want to know if the shedding of his scales above his neck area are.
His diet consists mainly of kale, collard greens, romaine, and spring mix. I let him soak in water for 15 mins every week (sometimes twice a week) and I rub warm water on his neck to help the shedding process.
He hasn’t done this before and I am thinking of going to the vet for a checkup.
Let me know what you guys think.
