Is something wrong with this baby?

His mother seems O.K. as far as colors and all.. she's barely 11" SCL and makes these strange babies - but I think I'll keep her anyway..... seen here nesting on the 4th of this month -

One of her babies from a nest last fall hatched out of the egg on the 20th [ yeah 2 DAYS ago ].. but he doesn't have much pattern on his head and only a couple spots! Is something wrong? The flash kinda 'paled' the colors and I didn't want to flash his eyes. What should I do?

Are redfoot hatchlings supposed to look like this? I'll probly just have to keep him { baaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaa} sorry 'bout that...

The only known cure for that particular scale pattern is to come live in Wyoming!
