Hello everyone,

I'm Cat and new to this group. We recently inherited a 30 yr old tortoise from my boyfriends Papa and have been doing some research into looking after him.

I could never really tell what kind of tortoise he is however some members from my introduction post believe he could be a leopard tortoise. I have attached some pictures below if you could let me know your thoughts?

Thank you
Cat

Yes, what we told you in your introductory thread is the truth that is a leopard tortoise.

Thank you YvonneG I just wanted to get more thoughts before I started to give him the appropriate care and before I tell his family what he is!

That's a nice looking Leopard. One that age / size could eat a big pile of weeds & grass daily.

Hope all goes well with him.
Welcome.

30 years old is quite impressive.

It's hard to judge from the pictures, but what is his size?
