Is more grass better?

The torts really appear to like the grass in their enclosure and they are eating it a lot. Since they appear to like it so much I was wondering if maybe I should make the middle section between the ramps on the lower level their yard? I would then prob. remove the grass from the "mezzanine" area to make sure they have enough "dry" space as well.

What do you think? Is more grassland better for them?

PS: I grow the grass myself and I recently bought the tortoise seed mixture from the Carolina pet supply.

Sure, Id seed most of the enclosure if your lighting is ideal for the grass/weeds growth. I noticed my leopard is much more active and stays up longer when grazing on his own, rather then just eating food of the plate.

I'd make more grass and they don't need a dry area.

Hello everybody,

I added more grass to the enclosure of Taco and Marshmellow. Let me know what you think and if you have suggestions, please let me know. In the summer they will move out to an outdoor enclosure, but during the NY winter they will have to stay inside I am afraid.
